Remote, Part-time
Frontend Developer
Help us build a fast, intuitive interface that sailing clubs actually enjoy using. You will work on the core web app, improving existing features and shipping new ones alongside the founding team.
About the role
FleetFixer is a small, product-led team building a fleet management platform for sailing clubs. The codebase is intentionally lean, vanilla JavaScript on the client and Firebase on the backend, so your work lands quickly and is visible to real clubs within days.
You will work directly with the founder, help shape the roadmap, and own entire features end-to-end. Expect a mix of new feature work, polish on existing flows, and performance improvements across the app.
What you will be working on
- Building and refining the fleet, maintenance, and inventory management panels used by club administrators and coaches
- Improving responsive layouts and accessibility across marketing pages and in-app views
- Wiring up Firestore queries, Cloud Function endpoints, and auth flows in the client
- Shipping small, well-scoped changes on a regular cadence rather than large rewrites
What we are looking for
- Strong JavaScript skills (vanilla JS, no framework required)
- Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions)
- A solid eye for responsive, accessible design
- Comfortable working independently and shipping iteratively
The details
- Location: Fully remote
- Hours: Part-time, flexible
- Start: As soon as the right person is found
