Performance help
Daily athlete tracking, coach dashboards with trends, photo and video coaching, and an in-app channel for parents.
Getting started
Three kinds of user
Performance serves athletes, coaches, and parents, each with their own dashboard. Which one you see depends on how your account was set up.
- Athletes log a quick daily entry and watch their trends on Today, Statistics, Gallery, Health, and Homework.
- Coaches manage squads and athletes, build session plans, run analysis, and message parents.
- Parents get a read-only view of their child's progress and a channel to message the coach.
Joining a squad
A coach adds you to a squad, or you can request to join if your club allows it. Once you are in, your Today tab is ready for your first daily log.
Athlete daily tracker
Logging a session
- Open the Today tab and start today's log.
- Pick the event type (Training, Racing, Fitness, Rest, or a combination). The questions adapt to what you choose.
- Work through the short screens: conditions, performance ratings (Starts, Upwind, Downwind, Boat Handling), racing detail, fitness, nutrition and hydration, body and mental state, and a short reflection.
- Use the voice-input buttons on the reflection fields if you prefer to talk. Then tap Submit Log.
You can edit a log for 48 hours after you submit it, after which it locks. Rest days skip the racing, conditions, and performance screens.
Seeing your trends
The Statistics tab shows 30-day charts for starts, upwind, downwind, and diet quality, alongside race results and key numbers.
Coach dashboards
Squads and athletes
- Under Squads, click New squad and set its name and boat class.
- Under Athletes, use Add athlete for one, or Bulk add to paste or upload a list.
Plans
The Plans tab is a session calendar and list. Double-click a day to add a session, or use New plan to write a training, fitness, or diet plan. Plans you share are visible to the squad's athletes.
Regattas and progression
Record race outcomes under Regattas with Add result. The Progression view rolls a squad's trends together and is where you run squad-level AI analysis.
Library
Upload photos, videos, and links under Library. Organise them in folders, tag the athletes in them, and assign any item as homework with a due date.
Coaches
Invite other coaches under Coaches with Invite coach. Each coach gets an access level and a squad scope, and you can tick exactly which areas they can manage.
Photo & video tools
Annotating photos
Open a photo in the editor to draw, add text, and highlight technique. Use the right-hand panel to tag the athletes in the shot and to add structured Coaching points and Positives.
Annotating video
The video editor adds a timeline so you can scrub frame by frame and mark up moments. A filmstrip shows every moment you create.
Sharing as homework
Assign an annotated photo or video as homework with a due date. Athletes review it in a read-only viewer, and you can see when they first opened it. When homework allows it, athletes can add their own marks on top of your annotations.
Photos and videos are consent-gated. If consent for an athlete is withdrawn, content they appear in is hidden.
AI analysis
What it does
The AI reads recent logs, results, and reflections and writes a short, structured coaching brief. It runs securely on our servers, so nothing sensitive is exposed in the browser.
Squad analysis
On the Progression view, pick a squad and click AI analysis. You get a short summary, what stands out, athletes to watch, and an action plan for the next week.
Athlete analysis
Open an athlete and click AI analysis for a personal brief: strengths, watch-outs, an action plan, and talking points for your next one-to-one.
Parents & enquiries
Connecting a parent (coach)
- Open the Parents tab.
- Use Magic link to create a single-use link to share or email, choosing whether you want to approve the parent before they see data. Links expire after 7 days.
- Or use Create account to set a parent up directly and share their sign-in details.
What a parent sees
Parents get a read-only dashboard for each linked child: progress statistics, coach notes the coach has chosen to share, assigned homework, the upcoming session calendar if shared, and the gallery (subject to consent).
Messaging the coach
Parents use Message your coach to start an in-app thread, and track replies under My enquiries. Coaches see these under the Enquiries tab, where the unread badge shows new messages and each thread can be moved through New, In progress, Replied, and Closed.
