Footage overlay
Drop in a GoPro clip and the tool reads the speed, heel and distance straight from the footage, draws a synced overlay and gives you a copy to post. A taste of what Rewind does.
Drop a GoPro clip, or click to choose
mp4 or mov straight off the camera (Hero 5 and later). Short highlights work best.

Heel
Heel is read from the camera. Hold the boat upright, scrub to that moment, then press Set level for a true zero.
Telemetry sync
Nudge the data earlier or later if it drifts from the action. 0.0 s
With audio on, the clip plays aloud once while it records.
How the numbers are read. Speed and distance come from the clip's GPS. Heel is the camera's roll, which matches the boat's heel when the camera is fixed to the boat, treat it as a close guide rather than an instrument and use Set level to zero it. Heel needs the gravity data that Hero 8 and newer cameras record; older clips show speed and distance only. Clips straight off the camera carry this data; footage that has been re-encoded or trimmed by other apps often loses it, in which case add a GPS track for speed and distance.
