Frontend Developer
Remote, part-timeBuild a fast, intuitive interface clubs actually enjoy using. You will work on the core web app in vanilla JavaScript on Firebase, improving existing flows and shipping new ones with the founding team.
We bring fleet maintenance, coaching, racing, course bookings and a free learning hub together on one backend, so the volunteers who run clubs spend less time on admin and more people get out on the water. Come build it with us.
FleetFixer is product-led and deliberately lean. The codebase is intentionally simple, so the work you do reaches real sailing clubs within days, not quarters. You will own features end to end and help decide what we build next.
Most of the clubs we serve are run by volunteers who would rather be on the water than buried in spreadsheets. Everything we make is in service of giving them that time back.
Each role has its own short application. Read the detail, then apply in a few focused steps. Nothing quite right? Send an open application and tell us where you would add value.

Grow FleetFixer by building relationships with sailing clubs, training centres and national governing bodies. You will be the first friendly contact for clubs exploring the platform.
Write the clear guides, docs and marketing content that help clubs understand and get the most from FleetFixer. Make complex features feel simple for non-technical readers.
Be the go-to person for our club customers. Onboard new clubs, provide ongoing support, gather feedback and make sure every club gets lasting value from FleetFixer.
Don't see your exact role? If you care about sailing and software and could add value, tell us how. We are always glad to hear from talented people ahead of a formal opening.
No black holes and no endless rounds. Here is exactly what to expect once you apply.
A short, role-specific application with your CV and cover letter. Around ten to fifteen minutes.
A relaxed video chat to get to know each other and talk through the role and your experience.
A focused session on real work: a portfolio walk-through, a short task or a scenario for your role.
If it is a fit on both sides, we move quickly and make you an offer. Either way, you hear back from us.
We read every application ourselves and reply to everyone, whatever the outcome. If you need any adjustments to take part, just say so in your application and we will make them.
Even if none of the roles above fit perfectly, we would love to hear from you. Send an open application or drop us a line.
